The fish, in the fish n chips, didn't have the normal batter that most places have. The fish was good, but I didn't care for the coating too much. Cute pub and the server was great. No real complaints! I will go back! Parking: You have to park on the street, so you may not get to park right in front of the restaurant. Just FYI! I wish there were more flavors and spices. The service was great! Everyone was friendly. I really appreciated the fact that they do not deep fry anything. Nothing was over oily. Only other suggestion would be to increase theportion sizes. There wasn?t a lot for the price :

Parson's Pub had good reviews so we... read more We were rolling in to Murphy after a day of riding and we were looking for a good place to eat before heading to our cabin. Parson's Pub had good reviews so we stopped in for supper. I was surprised to find that it was actually an Irish pub with Irishfood options and not just a theme. We all ordered something different. The corn beef and cabbage, Sheppard's pie, and chickenpot pie were great. The corn beef was a little dry but was still good. The Guinness beer cheese is delicious. They had a greatbeer selection and the Guinness on tap was as good as it gets. I highly recommend Parson's Pub for those that enjoy a good localatmosphere and Irish style cuisine. It is worth noting that if you want wine, this is a pub, not a winery.
