No spirits at the... read more It's alright, but not exactly what we were expecting. Hearty portions are not, it'll come in a smallish bowl. Food is good, but not plentiful. No spirits at the bar and so-so service. We went well before the dinner rush, but it just wasn't that grand.There are other great local restaurants that we'll try before we make our way back to this one.

Only other suggestion would be to increase theportion sizes. There wasn?t a lot for the price :

Parson's Pub had good reviews so we stopped in for supper. I was surprised to find that it was actually an Irish pub with Irishfood options and not just a theme. We all ordered something different. The corn beef and cabbage, Sheppard's pie, and chickenpot pie were great. The corn beef was a little dry but was still good. The Guinness beer cheese is delicious. They had a greatbeer selection and the Guinness on tap was as good as it gets. I highly recommend Parson's Pub for those that enjoy a good localatmosphere and Irish style cuisine. It is worth noting that if you want wine, this is a pub, not a winery.
