Contribute FeedbackTeresita's is a great sequel to the Halo Halo fad initially piloted by household names - Razon's & Kabigting's. While both brands are distinct heavyweights in their respective leagues, here came an alternative that I must say has every potential to knock both of these Goliaths out of the running...seriously My first venture was at their SM BF store & I was quite impressed at how their interiors were presented. Color tones & themes were quite soothing creating an ambience of creaminess & prestine while the wall boards entice a homy feel and the assurance that we are about to indulge in pure home-cooked meals as prepared by mom or grandma I took on their famous tapa (P130) & it did not fail! The beef was crazy tender & right-seasoned w/ no aftertaste. The vinegar concoction was a perfect compliment while the eggs were set up exactly how I liked them. Loved every helping, it's a must try! The Liempo (P120) was crazy crunchy! My wife was literally chuckling on every bite of this cracklin' glory! Pork was succulent & juicy despite its deep fried nature which went well w/ dipping sauce. I liked the balanced flavor & was not too salty. The fried porkchop (P120) was likewise a good pick as it was equally succulent & well seasoned. Nothin' distinct though & quite regular but not bad for its price. I just hope they get to upsize serving portions of their rice meals 'coz they're really good. The superstar lived up to its billing! It was the best Halo Halo I've had in the last couple of months (The other was Aling Taleng's Halo Halo in Pagsanjan). It was perfectly creamy & had this Bingsu-esque texture which added dimension to this piece of art & didn't require a phalanx of fruits, beans & jellies to drive its purpose w/ only 3 ingredients- Leche flan, Jackfruit & Macapuno strips... that's all... Nothin' fancy & funky. At P105, one gets a special helping of this bad ass heat quencher. Overall, Teresita's exceeded my expectations in terms of concept, taste & affordability. Service was good & staff were accommodating. The Halo Halo is for real! Highly recommended! Have been on several trips in this & their other branches so quite obvious that am a fan.
