I recently went to Richway Gyros after having a terrible experience at another hotdog place down the road in Chicago. So glad I found this place. The food is delicious and the customer service is awesome! Kudos to the staff. They know how to treat customers with respect! The prices are reasonable. What iamrepete doesn't like about Richway Gyros:
Since the original owner retired after 40 years,things were bound to change. Service is interesting...took 20 minutes for 2 items while the 15 item order gets filled first. The peppers and onions on sandwich were mostly skin. Let's hope the quality and service improve so they're as good as they've been for 40+ years. The chicken on a peta is absolutely delicious, EVERY SINGLE TIME!! anything I order is always delicious I highly recommend anything on the menu!
While the fries were spectacular, I was actually pretty disappointed in the gyro. I was expecting a traditional gyro with Romain, feta, cucumber, maybe even hummus… but I just got a gyro that was jam packed with vaguely flavored gyro meat, two half slices of tomato, and taziki sauce. Yes it was hot and fresh but I just feel like half the components of the gyro were missing. I like greens too. 6/10 (fries were amazing)
The food is good. The service is on point and it’s comfortable to sit and eat there.
Had a coupon from the clover app for a free order of fries with a purchase so it made me get a gyro that I've been meaning to get
Very friendly service. Recommend going on Fridays for their fish specials.
