What Paris Thomas doesn't like about Di Sallas' Pizza Parlor:
I asked for Xtra sauce and they poured it on top of the pizza. I asked for the sauce under the cheese and they said no. The customer is always right about how they want their food prepared. Di Sallas. That's the best pizza I ever had. One of my biggest disappointments after leaving Pgh was no longer able to get Junction Pizza. Every time we come back, DiSallas is the first place we visit.
Great Pizza by the Slice. I have been eating DiSallas Pizza for over 40 years. Always good pizza. The half-baked pizza is great too.
Pizza by the slice! Just like in the old days so you can try a little bit of this and a little bit of that, great pick for families and family dinner! Call them for a takeout pizza you’ll be wishing you knew about sooner!
I've been meaning to try DiSalla's for a while and I'm really happy I finally found time to visit. This is a solid neighborhood pizza shop. I knew from the moment I walked in and the amazing smells hit me through my mask that this would be awesome pizza. Prices were low, though they make sense when compared to the size of the piece. I ordered two slices for dinner, but I'll probably grab 3-4 slices next time. The pizza is light and airy, but with a nice crunch in the crust. Super good! Both front of house staff members were wearing masks and there was plenty of space to stand and wait. I can't speak to back of house since it wasn't visible, but fingers are crossed they're masked up back there too.
Absolutely BEST PIZZA EVER... I grew up on this pizza living right on ravine st n now that i live in hazelwood i still make the trip over. Betsey is the BEST, she is always so nice n friendly. I made it a point to bring my now adopted son here to start our own lil tradition twice a month... He loves it here too.. THANKS EVERYONE FOR MAKING THE BEST PIZZA BY FAR, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK...
