Never disappointed over the years and glad to say still top class
Dropped in for food without booking today, lovely experience, friendly helpful staff found us a table (Saturday and full house) ordered fish and chips and sea bass, shared some chicken wings before that food was gorgeous, see pics. Lovely food cooked to perfection (sauce provided with the sea bass was fabulous. Highly recommended... Probably wise to book first as very busy guy that greeted us found us a spot by window . Well done cons staff haven't been in a while since was taken over... highly recommended
Very nice family meeting. Very good attention and food and atmosphere. I remembered my stay as an English student 40 years ago in this beautiful town. From that time of the 1970s there remains the memory of the religious Brother Eigen who died 20 years ago. That's what a neighbor told me to remember at the entrance to school and church. Thank you.
Lunch hours, Cons is brilliant and reasonably priced. For dinner it can start out well but then service disappears. We had to get out of our seats to ask the bar man for desserts and coffee. For drinks the bar staff at night can be outright rude. There's absolutely no consistency to the place
I love cons bar friendly helpful staff. Service is excellent, very good price food wise and alcohol is normal pub prices. Con's can provide a number of seating areas and numbers but must be pre booked to ensure your area is reserved.
