I dined at Pier Head last night and everything was great except for one issue—the beds. The mattresses were cheap and uncomfortable, clearly not meeting hotel standards. The springs pressed into my back, making it feel like I was lying directly on the wooden bed frame. This is unacceptable for a hotel.

I dropped in for lunch while passing through and had a wonderful experience! The staff were welcoming, and the food was fantastic. I especially loved the wrap—it wasn’t the biggest I’ve ever had, but the flavors were incredible and it was packed with filling. Honestly, it’s the best wrap I’ve ever tasted. My husband and kids also enjoyed their meals, particularly the kids’ fish. I’d almost consider making the drive from Armagh for lunch every day. We’ll be back in the area on holiday next year, so I’ll definitely return to this restaurant if I don’t come back before school starts.
