Very great location. Kind stuff, tasty food and the coast is so close.
Very quiet, the staff were nice, we only stayed one night on our way there.
Whether for a quiet stay or a truly top-notch dinner, if you're in the area you must try Chef Roberto's cuisine... recommended

Had the sea food starter and sea bass, followed by creme caramel. Delicious. Lovely terrace restaurant. Friendly staff. Really enjoyed our evening.
Very atmospheric place, friendly staff, but the service is pathetic... 1hour15min cooking time and 20min waiting for the bill. Food was nice, but the portions were small...
New owners took over a year or so ago, and apparently redecorated. This restaurant is part of a hotel, which has a tempting swimming pool in the hot weather. We ate in the main room at the end of October and there were heaters and a fireplace. A lot of thought went into the decor, which is beautiful, with classical music playing. The appetizers were adventurous, and it paid off. We had excellent fresh fish with local house wine, vegetables, several sides and dessert. The terrace and dining room are perfect for watching the sunset as it is in a beautiful location overlooking the sea, on the road between Muggia and the Slovenian border at Lazaretto. Try it, but call first to check on opening times in the winter.
