We... read more New owners took over a year or so ago, and apparently redecorated. This restaurant is part of a hotel, which has a tempting swimming pool in the hot weather. We ate in the main room at the end of October and there were heaters and a fireplace. A lot of thought went into the decor, which is beautiful, with classical music playing. The appetizers were adventurous, and it paid off. We had excellent fresh fish with local house wine, vegetables, several sides and dessert. The terrace and dining room are perfect for watching the sunset as it is in a beautiful location overlooking the sea, on the road between Muggia and the Slovenian border at Lazaretto. Try it, but call first to check on opening times in the winter.
