We came here by chance. a long morning of going had left us in the super expensive part of the city, so we google affordable bars and found a place a short dist... read more We came here by chance. a long morning of going had left us in the super expensive part of the city, so we google affordable bars and found a place a short distance from here unfortunately it seems that other people googled the same place and it was much too busy. on a side street we saw a few nice looking bars, they were also full, then we noticed that we were standing at a small place that looked pretty and went to the house. small was certainly the right word, there is a deli-style area on the front with little sitting opportunities (and actually not much standing room,) on the back are about 6 high tables and stools where we sat. the menu is quite short and the half of it was not available, but that made us with some quite simple looking spaghetti dishes, but prepared by a small Italian lady who the kerl in front of the house called nona that sounded as if it were good ending and it did. eating was not cheap, but it was also not expensive, especially if you could see that it was absolutely prepared by scratches in the tiny kitchen, right where we were sitting. service was friendly, eating was great and the prices were ok. we were only for a week-end, so we didn't come back here again, but if we stayed longer, I would certainly have considered it.
