This visit was not different and both the cod main course as well as the beef were first class. I feel that prices have started to creep up...to fine dining levels and whilst the food and service matches this the dining space is a bit too bright and lacks atmosphere.

On our last night in a few we have eaten tasty white carvings here. we stayed in the connected hotel torbräu. the service in the restaurant was excellent, the f... read more On our last night in a few we have eaten tasty white carvings here. we stayed in the connected hotel torbräu. the service in the restaurant was excellent, the food was good and the room was nice and quiet so that my wife and each other could hear talking. the menu is small and changes every day. they can get in the regular bark fillet tips, pork and fish. the cake and mousse desserts looked fantastic. if they are looking for a quiet eating in front of the loud outside world - a place where they can talk - schapeau is a good choice.
