Atmo... read more We ate dinner here both because of the reviews and because we are staying at the same Hotel Torbrau. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. Atmosphere good, service good except the ice cream took over an hour. Since it is spring,...they had several asparagus items, the soup and ice cream being 2 that we delicious and creative. Weiner schnitzel was very good, tender, with Logan berry sauce. Little pricey but strong recommendation.

This visit was not different and both the cod main course as well as the beef were first class. I feel that prices have started to creep up...to fine dining levels and whilst the food and service matches this the dining space is a bit too bright and lacks atmosphere.

A coffin-sized shower that doesn’t drain, in a bathroom with grime collecting in every corner, in a room with awful shag carpet and two single beds jammed together as a mock king, with a window lined with tinfoil and pigeon spikes opening to a neglected courtyard with arches painted on the stucco. Shameful and disgusting. Terrible value for money.

The room was fantastic, the lobby and bar area relaxed and welcoming and with the parking also available out the back it couldn’t have been more ideal for me and my partner. They even accommodated our motorhome and went the extra mile to fit it into the space they have. Daniel was our main contact with nothing but a polite can do attitude which even allowed us to extend our stay during a busy period. Thanks you for our lovely stay, James Dee
