Ruffini is a collective charming cantina serving with kindness very good and simple dishes. The origin of the products selected with attention gives a tasty feta cheese, an excellent olive oil, aso. The deco seems untouched since 1950 only the customers are replaced every 15 years which implicates to bring the new generation in their strollers. The cakes are incredibly tasty and fresh. What CJoutandabout doesn't like about Ruffini:
There for brunch. Nice looking and formal/friendly enough reception. Very German style. Prices are surprisingly high and portion sizes very small. If you like trendy and have small appetite then this is OK. If you are about to set of on 20km hike choose somewhere else. View all feedback.
It is a nice cafe with good coffee and cakes. It is a good place to work or go with friends and it also has concerts and stand-up comedy from time to time. They also serve food which looked tasty.
While it did seem a popular place waiting 20 mins for service is just not acceptable. Had to head to the bar ourselves. Staff just seemed unorganised Wouldn't go again
Following the recommendation in our guide book we embarked on the journey to find Cafe Ruffini definitely off the beaten track and a delightfully unpretentious cafe which is clearly valued by the local community. Excellent cooked breakfast options as well as continental with delicious selection of bread. Coffee was excellent. Worth the effort for a taste of Germany away from the tourist crowds.
