Looking for a quaint, quiet place to rest & replenish (after having toured through Deutsches Museum for 6 hrs on a hot summer's day), we found this little gem!... read more Looking for a quaint, quiet place to rest & replenish (after having toured through Deutsches Museum for 6 hrs on a hot summer's day), we found this little gem! In fact it was the Italian owner who caught us checking out his lunch menu, mentioning in passing that every Thursday (the day of our visit) was 'hand-made-Gnocchi-day' in his restaurant. If we'd wish to taste heavenly gnocchi - how could we resist his invitation? We chose one of each Gnocchi dishes (Porcini Mushroms & Truffels / Bolognese Bianco) - they tasted amazing!Nice small setting, doors/windows opening onto street, some chairs/tables on sidewalk - very relaxing.

We ended up ordering two of the breakfast platters which were so fresh, so delicious and presented so beautifully. Some more unique menu items and fantastic Italian coffee! Better than all of that was the friendly and thoughtful service by Edgar. Thank you for such an unexpected treat!
