Absolutely my fave coffee spot in Munich. Love it all.. starting from the coffee and cakes, ending with the music, atmosphere, nice staff and books of course. Full stop View all feedback.
What Clemens Wimmer doesn't like about Lost Weekend:
The place is definitely cool to meet up someone next to the Uni. The prices are a bit high, 3,40 Euro for a Latte or 3,20 Euro for a Hot Chocolate but its (for Munich) a stylish builiding. Chairs arent so comfy here, also pretty noisy and busy. Internet could be better. View all feedback.
Here, you've got books and magazines, you've got delicious coffee and super friendly staff. Lots of interesting events take place here as well.
I love this place. Chanced across it by accident as we were in the English book shop next door. Asked if they did soya milk, which is my usual initial question in a coffee shop, then realised the whole place was vegan with a very wide range of milks, cakes and sandwiches. Preceeded to stuff my face - all delicious! It is also, in itself, a great airy cafe with lots of seating and some good people watching. Try it out!
We went there thinking it was a coffee place like any other (with the difference of being vegan) and we realized this was actually a university bar. There is a really hip young atmosphere inside. Unfortunately for us, some of the machines were broken the day we came so we had to settle for hot chocolate and there were no croissant left so we had carrot cake. Both were really good. There is also a bookshop in the café which is cool !
I've been all around the world and this is the first place I've seen a vegan croissant. It was delicious as well as the coffee and light bites. Some of the tables and chairs are made of cardboard boxes which I thought was interesting. Young/university vibe inside.
