This is a lovely restaurant featuring incredible wood-fired pizza. We dined in for dinner, and the price per person was around $20 to $40.
The Woodford pizza I had was quite good, especially considering the rural setting. You can definitely see the teamwork in the kitchen, as they seem to be pulling together friends and family to lend a hand. I tried the four cheese pizza; while it wasn’t the best quattro formaggi I’ve ever tasted, it was still decent. I would love to return to sample some of the other pizzas on the menu. I also think takeout might be the better option for now, as the restaurant ambiance isn't quite there yet.
We called ahead to check if there were any available seats and were told we could just walk in. This was at 6:45 PM on a Saturday. When we arrived at 7:30 PM, the restaurant was completely empty. We were considering taking our meal back to our room when they informed us that they were very busy and had run out of the base for their dishes. On a Saturday at 7:30 PM? Seriously? They should be preparing their bases a day in advance. They need to improve their management or simply stop saying that we can just walk in.
