Opted for the Guinness and Steak pie with champ and veg and it was delicious. Steak melted in your mouth and was very tasty. My partner went for the goujons and garlic chips which were also polished off. Meal and drinks were as good a price as you would get anywhere else. Will return and recommend

Most of the bar staff are incredibly helpful however I ordered drinks at the time of last orders and spent about 10 minutes afterwards gathering ffriends in a b... read more Most of the bar staff are incredibly helpful however I ordered drinks at the time of last orders and spent about 10 minutes afterwards gathering ffriends in a busy bar to come and take the drink that I had ordered, only to hear that one of the owners had poured two untouched drinks away. Followed by 10/15 minutes of belittling by said person after which I was able to get a full refund the drinks that I had just ordered shortly before. Having worked in bars before I was fully aware that this was absolutely terrible service and should not be tolerated. I am a regular to the bar and have never had this happen to me before so you shouldn't let this put you off however I wanted to mark the occasion as I am utterly appalled at how this was handled. Again I will state that this has been a once off however I hope that those concerned will take note of this absolutely terrible service and learn from it so that it doesn't happen again and take away from the beautiful bar that is mary mcbrides
