Great grill! I've been wanting to try this place since I moved here a year ago, and I finally had the chance to visit. It was definitely worth the wait. The homemade Texas-style sauce was the highlight of the meal!
Qbb is an outstanding BBQ joint! The brisket is amazing, and the cornbread is wonderfully moist. The mac and cheese is exceptional and incredibly convenient. The selection of meat cuts is impressive, and the sandwiches are delicious and reasonably priced. This place is a local favorite!
First time visiting this restaurant on Sunday. Happy hour until 6, and the place was not busy at all (the whole downtown was dead that afternoon). I had read the menu ahead of time and was looking forward to some items! We started with the Pork Belly Burnt Ends and the Bacon Explosion. Both were excellent, but the burnt ends just won us over a tad more. For main course we had the Prime Brisket and the baby back ribs. I enjoyed the ribs while my co-eater enjoyed the brisket. We both tried the 2 versions of mac n cheese, and it was great as well! I have to say that the BBQ sauce and rubs are a bit more savory for my taste. I would definitely go back and try something different. All in all a good visit. Very friendly and FAST service. Oh, and I wanted to mention they had clean af restrooms too. I don't say that often but it's a small detail I appreciated.
I had a craving for BBQ, and this place did not let me down. I started with the stuffed jalapenos wrapped in bacon, which were delicious. For my main course, I ordered the brisket plate with a side of beans. I didn't even need the knife; the brisket was so tender that I could cut it with a fork. It had a lovely, subtle smokiness, and the fat was rendered perfectly. Indulging my sweet tooth, I also tried the bourbon and maple flan with candied bacon. While I wasn't a fan of the bacon, the flan was quite nice. I enjoyed everything with a couple of pints of hefeweizen. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and if I get the chance, I will definitely return.
Fantastic selection of bourbons. I just wish they offered some BBQ fish!

We've walked by this place a few times and finally decided to stop and try it. We were not disappointed. I was hungry so I ordered a lot of food knowing that I would be taking some home. The Dog City Dog was outstanding. I liked the cornbread and the Mac and Cheese as well. The service was prompt and very friendly. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for something different in downtown Mountain View.My partner had the grilled cheese sandwich and a salad since she is a vegetarian and she was impressed. The menu has a lot of pork but there are also some chicken and beef options. We didn't try any of the whiskey or bourbon since neither of us drink alcohol but if that is your thing the options are extensive. They also have a few cocktails on the menu.We will definitely be back soon.
Great bourbon selection! We weren't there for a meal but happened to be passing and stopped in. Friendly folks with great recommendations. Looking forward to trying the food.
I'm no BBQ expert and I've been told many times there is a shortage of reliably good BBQ in the area so I'm glad we tried QBB.I got to try the ribs and brisket. Brisket was tender and I didn't get a single bite of dryness. The rib I got wasn't quite fall off the bone but not tough. Great flavor for both even without sauces.I really dug into the sides. The cornbread came with something like maple butter and I could eat the maple butter by itself all day long. SO GOOD. Classic mac and cheese is rich and cheesy. Braised collards always seem so salty everywhere so I was prepared for that. House pickles were a surprise hit and I had seconds of the coleslaw and potato salad. I needed a nap after but it was worth it.Very nice staff who make recommendations with a lot of patience. We'll be back!
The BBQ chicken here is exceptional. Be sure to try the cornbread, and don't forget to add some butter. They also have half-priced whiskey on Fridays. Overall, I rate the food a perfect 5 out of 5!
I absolutely love visiting this restaurant for the overall experience. We tried the bartender's choice whiskey tasting, and it was fantastic. Since it specializes in barbecue, the quality can vary—sometimes it's amazing, other times just good. Nonetheless, I highly recommend giving it a try. We've dined both indoors and outdoors, and both experiences were delightful. The cornbread is a must-try, and the mac and cheese is also excellent. The pulled pork, brisket, and ribs are all delicious as well.

The sandwich is tiny for $18.00. It was supposed to come with pickles. I asked for pickles for all three of us. They brought out three little bowls of pickles and then had the nerve to say they were going to charge each of us $3 .50 but the waiter took offtwo of the three charges for pickles. The mac and cheese was dry and horrible. Beans meh. Even the margaritas did not tasteright. Definitely wouldn't recommend!
The food and cocktails were quite good, albeit a bit pricey, likely because of the prime location. As someone from Texas, I have high expectations for BBQ. I'd return for the appetizers and drinks, but probably wouldn't splurge on the main dinner plates. The outdoor area is wonderful, surrounded by lively downtown activity.

The dishes and cocktails were quite good, though on the pricey side, likely due to the prime location. Coming from Texas, I have high standards when it comes to BBQ. I would definitely return for appetizers and drinks, but I probably wouldn’t spend the extra for a dinner. The outdoor seating is fantastic, allowing you to enjoy the lively atmosphere of the entire city center around you.
The barbecue was quite tasty, and the variety of beer and bourbon was impressive. However, the staff appeared to be not very knowledgeable about the bourbon options.
