I was hungry so I ordered a lot of food knowing that I would be taking some home. The Dog City Dog was outstanding. I liked the cornbread and the Mac and Cheese as well. The service was prompt and very friendly. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for something different in downtown Mountain View.My partner had the grilled cheese sandwich and a salad since she is a vegetarian and she was impressed. The menu has a lot of pork but there are also some chicken and beef options. We didn't try any of the whiskey or bourbon since neither of us drink alcohol but if that is your thing the options are extensive. They also have a few cocktails on the menu.We will definitely be back soon.

Since it specializ... read more I absolutely love visiting this restaurant for the overall experience. We tried the bartender's choice whiskey tasting, and it was fantastic. Since it specializes in barbecue, the quality can vary—sometimes it's amazing, other times just good. Nonetheless, I highly recommend giving it a try. We've dined both indoors and outdoors, and both experiences were delightful. The cornbread is a must-try, and the mac and cheese is also excellent. The pulled pork, brisket, and ribs are all delicious as well.

I'd return for the appetizers and drinks, but probably wouldn't splurge on the main dinner plates. The outdoor area is wonderful, surrounded by lively downtown activity.
