Feedback
Sakoon restaurant in MV is highly recommended for their delicious kofta, while the Fremont location needs improvement. The food is expensive, with average taste, and not a good value for money. The service at Sakoon can be hit or miss, with some experiences being lackluster. The Saltwater Grill in Galveston offers updated menu items and delicious food, although the noisy environment can be a downside. Another Sakoon location is praised for its lunch buffet and reasonable prices, as well as a comfortable dining ambiance. Some diners enjoy the food at Sakoon but find the service lacking in courtesy and attentiveness. Overall, Sakoon is a good choice for formal dining with excellent food and professional service, but there are mixed opinions on certain dishes and service quality at different locations.
We have eaten here many times, and, while not experts in indian food, have enjoyed all the dishes we've had. newly renovated interior. efficient service. good portions. recommend the lamb biryani and chicken tikka marsala.
The food quality has degraded a little. The mix of veggie grill is now predominantly onions, less paneer and bell pepper. Samosas were fine and so were other dishes. Raymon always provides excellent service. Overall, I'd revisit the restaurant.
Overall the food was delicious (would prefer if there was a plain rice, since the Jeera/ cumin seeds were a bit strong for my tastes, but that’s personal preference). The service, on the other hand, was pretty bad. We reserved outside seats and didn’t get them, the waiters were not paying much attention to us (and if they did, they seemed to be dismissive), for instance ordering a coke and they forgot to bring it, yet there were very few other customers.
