Valley Shine Distillery - Mount Vernon

I love this restaurant and wish I knew when or if it will ever reopen. I am very happy.

The restaurant has a lovely aroma of smoked wood. The food is delicious and the drinks are some of the best in the area.

Just moved to Mount Vernon a week ago and my lady and I found this place just walking around exploring. We had Old Fashions and they were amazing! Strong and flavorful. We didn’t have food but saw our fellow patrons’ food and immediately regretted eating earlier that night. This place is clean, great decor, and had a wonderful staff. Our bartender Xander was attentive, personable and very experienced in mixology. We will absolutely will be making Valley Shine Distillery our regular venue for quality drinks and food. What a wonderful find!

Limited menu but interesting selections I tried the mac cheese just because I had it out of the airport once and it was fabulous this was about a B+. Find selection of liquors all locally made and not to be missed

They make excellent schnapps, my favorite is the gin. I want to say that you eat is delicious, but I can't pass the chopped chicken cale salad. this place has under 8 tabs and the counter. beautiful woodwork and old brick, uplifted clean toilets. beautiful friendly people.
