The PH was our place before the Kovid. Now that they're back open, we had a visit. We were not disappointed. With new furniture, a fresh menu and all feast, everything looked great. You have a good selection of brews and lemons for your drinking pleasure. As far as food is concerned, they have always nailed their fish so that I have chosen their bride and garlic burgers. I haven't been this frustrated with a restaurant in a long time. It feels like they're just trying to squeeze money out of customers without understanding how to operate properly. They charge $20, not including tax or tip, for a quarter-pound cheeseburger. The fries were stale and unappetizing as well. Everything was wonderful until we noticed a service fee added to our bill, which we found disappointing. We usually tip generously and do not appreciate this extra charge.
Beautiful pub, great location and beer selection. Super friendly staff and yummy food!
While visiting Mt Vernon, we stopped in for a quick bite and a couple of adult beverages. They had a good selection of beer and wine. We order Nachos, which were a total letdown. $19.95 plus $8,00 for a small amount of chicken. No care was taken to distribute the toppings. Just plopped on sporadically. If the chicken was any drier, it might have been considered jerky
Food was fabulous! We had the Beef Stroganoff and the Spicy Chicken Sandwich. The food came out fast and hot! Service was amazing and the food was delicious. Definitely will go back.
Service was good. Chowder was good. The fish and chips were just okay. Like the lightness of the beer batter but it quickly became soggy and fell apart as it cooled. The fish was not seasoned and was bland. Hope to come back and try the other items on the menu.
