Was Mara Schaden at Rick's Fish & Chips a mag?
I can tell that a lot of people writing reviews here are too used to the double-fried, frozen abominations served at most restaurants. These fries are fresh cut. They are lightly fried, so are not crunchy. Please... enjoy them for what they are... REAL FOOD....On our visit, our service was a little slow, but to be fair, they were completely slammed at peak dinner hour on a holiday weekend. View all feedback.

After reading the recommendations we thought this would be a great place for lunch. Well, no, not really. My husband thought it was okay, but I found it not okay. In fact I left half of my lunch in the basket. I may have been influenced by the excellent dinner we had the night before, but, I don't really believe that. Five adults dined at 1:30 pm on August 18th at Rick's restaurant. Two of the dishes (which were previously enjoyed) were no longer available, leaving three disappointed diners. The quality of the food was not up to par, with four out of the five ordering the "fish and chips" dish. The fries were lukewarm and undercooked, and the fish was slightly overcooked. Menu items such as kartoffelmaic were also unavailable. The service was not as attentive as previous visits. Overall, this experience was disappointing and I would hesitate to recommend Rick's in the future.
