What Fiona T doesn't like about Cardigan Lobster Suppers:
2.5 on very slow service, food came too slowly over a course of 2 hours for 4 meals. We were sat in the pub area with no air conditioning and poor ventilation. Dripping sweat the entire time. The chairs could use some cleaning. Very greasy on touch. In terms of food, 4 stars. The clam chowder was amazing. The lobsters were good size. The muscles was okay. The salad with their special house made dressing was a refreshing touch. I'd say overall the food was decent but the ventilation needs improvement.
We had been on The Island for over a week and had not had a full lobster dinner. So off to Cardigan we went as it was near to where we were staying. Well we were greated by a man with a ripped and stained teeshirt. I thought he was a kitchen hand we later found out he was the owner! The restaurant is in huge need of modernization very old and tired. The price point was okay with 2 choices of a 3 or 5 course dinner. The chowder was so so, the salad wad way too cold with bland dressings. The local muscles were VERY GOOD, and so was the lobster. The lady on the next table sent 2 back as they were not cooked properly. Desert was a choice of a brownie or pound cake both of which were very mundane. Cocktails were not good definitely not city standard. The wait staff were very friendly and apologized several times for the wait. They said they were unexpectedly busy! WHAT IT 'S AUGUST!!!! Anyway skip this one and go to New Glasgow as we should hAve done.

I had the steak and it was good though i think a salad should have come with it for the 28 dollar price tag my wife had the lobster and she thought it was a little rubbery but not being a lobster eating person i could not tell you about that. there should be music on the patio didn't have a sound system out there was a cool night as well so patio heaters could help but being a man i sucked it up lol all in all good food and good service a little over priced in my mind.
Excellent experience!! The servers were very attentive, the view from the terrace was wonderful, the food was excellent and the entertainment was very pleasant. This place offers the entire package for a fabulous culinary experience! Service: Dine in
Delicious and worth the ride and the money. Has made the lobster and the supplements fair!
