What Dessie Pagac likes about Standby Espresso:
Cute little shop out the back of fresh provisions with stylish black La Marzzoco machine. Service was fun and friendly. Flat white was well done chocolate and velvety style that worked well with milk. Cold brew was balanced and full flavoured. Everything bagel with chive cream cheese was toasted crispy and not too dense. One of the nicer bagels I've had in Perth. A great addition to the area and will compete with Chu... View all feedback. Been driving past this little spot for a while now and finally got to try it. It's a little hole in the wall place that does small coffees for $3.50 and large for $4.50, some small food items like toasties, banana bread and bagels. read moreThis hole-in-the-wall coffee shop tucked away behind Fresh Provisions on Walcott and Beaufort in Perth has been gaining attention from locals. The cozy space offers a limited menu of small food items like toasties, banana bread, and bagels alongside their reasonably priced coffee. While some customers found the coffee to be average and overly milky, others praised the rich and velvety flat whites and cold brews. The standout item on the menu seems to be the everything bagel with jalapeño cream cheese, which has received high praise for its flavor and texture. The friendly staff, unique concept, and convenient location make this coffee shop a promising addition to the Mt Lawley area, competing with other nearby cafes for regular visitors. Whether you're in need of a weekend pick-me-up or a weekday treat, this spot is worth checking out for a different coffee experience in the neighborhood.
