With incredible presentation and a range of dishes like Xalmon poke bowls and vegan 'toona' sushi rolls, this place really hits the mark for vegans and sushi lovers alike. The extensive vegan options, attentive service, and delicious flavors make Kaze Bento a top choice for those craving quality sushi in Mt. Lawley. And don't miss out on the vegan crabstick sushi if you visit! Just be mindful of the occasional egg item on the vegan menu and the lack of air conditioning on warm nights.
10/10 we are basically one of all and it was a hole race!
Kaze Bento is now the first venue in Perth to offer Vegan Salmon!! It looks so realistic! The ‘Xalmon’ is actually made from yam and tapioca, and the texture is IDENTICAL to salmon! You can now get their Xalmon as sashimi, nigiri, sushi rolls, and in their salads and bowls. They are also currently offering this stunning Xalmon platter, which is not on the menu but can be requested $26.50). This is perfect for sharing and trying out each of the Xalmon dishes. The presentation is amazing! Some of the Xalmon was topped with vegan ‘salmon roe’, which are actually pearls made from bush tomato! And how cute is the leaf made from wasabi! Also tried their Xalmon Pokebowl and the Xalmon Chirashi Don bowl, both of which were incredibly fresh, delicious and beautifully presented. I also tried their ‘toona’ sushi rolls, which taste amazingly like the real thing! And for those of you that aren’t a fan of seaweed, Kaze Bento also offer a soy-based wrap for their sushi rolls! The huge selection of vegan options! The food was delicious and the service was also great, and all decently expensive. The staff also specifically asked if we were vegan to make sure they got the order right.
Finding a sushi place with many vegan options can be quite hard, but this place really satisfied my partner and I sushi desire! Honestly, some of the best sushi I've ever had! First we ordered two sushi sets and it was so good, but after completion we were more ate, so we ordered another 2 sets! Next time I find myself in Mt. Lawley, I'll meet this place again!
Not only the best sushi, but also the only one with so many vegan options! My husband and I tried a few dishes, but the favorites were definitely the gyoza, katsu chicken roll and the boiled tuna. All vegan natural! The Xalmon was also incredible! Especially on the nigiri
