We went here for a quite bite to eat while in the area and the food is always very good. Chicken Kaarage wasn't quite up to my expectations, but the sushi rolls were good, and the service quick and friendly. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Mr Munchies:
Eaten here a few times and it's been ok but tonight Ordered takeaway and was really disappointed on pick-up. Bento box was small and pretty disappointing for 17.50. Ordered teriyaki chicken for my son and was given a small amount of chicken and no rice which we discovered when we got home, so the kid ordered a pizza. All up including pizza $60 not so cheap takeaway meal.. wont be ordering takeaway from here again. View all feedback.
Mr. Munchies has salmon and tuna sushi rolls in huge portions so more of sushi style fare. Also serve pork, beef and chicken in sushi style rolls. Seaweed salad was excellent. A fun place to eat.
I was never really a fan of Mr Munchies ever since they opened. Their food has always been too Westernised for my liking and the recent visit just reinforced my first impression. Besides the pre-prepared menu, you can now customise your own sushi rolls, add as many or as few ingredients as you want
A lovely casual vibe with friendly, quick service. Fresh made sushi was tasty, and karaage bento box was nice. A good spot for a no fuss, casual meal that hits the craving for Japanese. Will definitely visit again. $75 for three people sharing so not dirt-cheap but good value for money.
Getting 25% off with an Entertainment voucher we fed a family of four for $50! Food was nice and service friendly. Good place for a casual meal.
This used to be one of the best Japanese restaurants I have been to . Last few times we have been seems like the quality is dropping each time. The teriyaki beef used to be nice tender beef pieces now just fatty cheap beef . Substituted the prawns in the sushi roll for chewy calamari. Im sure there is still some good stuff on the menu though
