We arrived late on Good Friday, hadn’t been told about the office being closed but worked out we had to check in next door and walk back. The lady on call was helpful and friendly. Nice and clean, well appointed room with smart TV, cold a/c, fridge and coffee making facilities. Beds were a bit firm but that was fine. Ample close parking, walking distance to food options. Would stay here again when back in Isa. View all feedback.

coeliac foresight. menu says gluten-free options, but the personal has no warning. Gluten-free eating served with potato precious stones and broth-based muffin. notified worker when ordering was placed on the stand of my wife. that was not passed on. when the complaint was made, general lack of knowledge was shown. the meal has been replaced, but no offer of refund. Lovely couple of nights at the Isa Hotel and the Rodeo Bar and grill in Mount Isa. Was there for the Monday night quizze night, and Darcy did a great job as MC. The staff are all so nice, friendly and helpful. Happy Hour every day between 4.30 pm and 5 pm with $6.50 Schooners of tap beer. Really nice outdoor deck with a bar. 2 rooms of gaming machines but no pool table. Had the Monday special Parmy for around $20, and it was very nice. I highly recommend this really nice pub.
Accommodation The experience here was less than optimal. Three of us stayed here in different rooms and each of us had issues. One of our group was put in a dirty room which had a yellow stained pillow, and another had issues with noise from the ceiling above their room all night. Oh, and there is one default pillow setting not soft at all! The mattress in my room (room 161) was harder than a granite slab, and the room door didn't latch without force I returned to my room one afternoon to find the door wasn't latched after housekeeping had been in, which is a significant safety and security issue. The response from a manager at the desk regarding this issue was unacceptable as she said she'd speak to housekeeping. FIX THE DOOR AND DON'T PLACE THE RESPONSIBILITY ON HOUSEKEEPING STAFF. Food The meals were, quite frankly, pretty awful the lamb skewers were raw inside, chips cold, and the herbed steak dry, tough and unappetising. Steak sandwich also cold. Do yourself a favour and go eat at either The Buff or the Irish Club. Location Although conveniently located within close proximity to most services etc in town, this location also lends itself to some noise (idiots yelling and screaming throughout the night) emanating from the streets (which I understand is outside of the control of the hotel staff). The best thing about the location is probably being across the road from the Coffee Club which you're going to be thankful for after a sleepless night.
Terrible service from the kitech staff. Usually, I can order a Hawaiian pizza on a Sunday but was told I can no longer do that as it is only available Monday to Friday (but every other pizza can be ordered on a Sunday) even though I got it last weekend. Then, when I ordered a ceaser salad with no dressing and a hard-boiled egg (not runny at all), the waitress notes it down on the order receipt. The kitchen sent it out, drowned in dressing, and had a runny poached egg. We sent it back politely, informing them of the requirements, and it comes back out with no change! So we sent it back again! Finally comes out correctly.
Great place to unwind and have an ice cold beverage while watching the fork lift drive past on the foot path that's unregistered, lol. Very clean net, tidy place and friendly staff with reasonable prices. Clean toilets also. Highly recommended Service: 5
