Best breakfast I have had during our 4 week holiday. Such an interesting menu, too many options to choose from. I opted for the harrisa eggs, best ever, just a the right amount of spice to add complexity to the taste and real sourdough bread to mop up the poached egg. My partner had the porridge, also very good View all feedback.
What Happyduck doesn't like about Presto Eatery:
I was really hoping this was the healthy option but with so much deep fried on the menu it’s a bit disappointing. Still probably better than some. Staff were a bit hit and miss. One lovely woman tried to be helpful but the blond behind the till was surly and couldn’t have cared less. Burnt coffee woes. View all feedback.
Popped in for a quick breakfast before a work meeting. The place looked great. The staff behind the counter were totally disinterested in serving me but then when any local came in, they were falling all over them... The coffee eventually arrived - very slow - considering they have a three group machine, not many tables with eat in customers, so expected my coffee faster. The espresso was sour and cool. Couldn't drink it. Breakfast arrived, eggs over cooked, the bread was not buttered and dry. The bacon what was of it was burnt.Staff cleared my table with out enquiring why I had not drunk my coffee or why the food was half eaten.Maybe it's the norm. Country cafe fail.
Firstly, the coffee is ok but the Big Breakfast was a disgrace. Even though I paid a whopping $21 I didn't finish. Bacon was Burnt. Bread was soggy and the tomatoes had an odd taste. I would expect more then 1 sausage on a big breaky, but the plate is loaded with mushrooms and garnishes so suppose there is no room. For $21 I would expect a higher standard, even the coffee isn't the greatest. Weak and always luke warm. For a place that has amazing potential it always puzzles me why it's so quiet.....but maybe I know why now. Also, this isn't the first time I've eaten here. The first time was equally as bad but didn't think a bad review was warranted after 1 visit.
Unbelievably scrumptious food if you like quality, tasty, healthy food in good sized portions. I had the Buddha Bowl with a selection of roasted veggies and toasted chickpeas with a delectable serving of hot lamb as an extra. If I could choose this dish at a fine dining restaurant I would. My type of culinary heaven.
First holiday morning breakfast and Presto Eatery did not disappoint! Boys loved the delicious bacon and egg brioche burgers! Coffee was perfect!
2 cappuccino and one muffin, 16 dollars. Delicious muffin with lemon custard. Medium cappuccino. Fast service
