I've been a regular visitor to My Buller for years but had never tried Cattlemen's Café. After skiing in blizzard conditions most of the day we needed a warm up and coffee so thought we would try this café. The service cashier was pleasant, the waitress was very cheerful and helpful and the coffee just right. This café has a great location at the bottom of Bourke St where you can people watch and warm up for another... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Cattleman's Cafe:
Very unhelpful when we asked about the menu. A small stodgy and greasy roll was $12.Manager was rude and cranky at 9am launching an attack on our 10 year old daughter. He swore at me when I asked him not to be so rude and then denied it on this site. We never went back all week as there are many other MUCH BETTER value with great, helpful staff elsewhere on the mountain. People who value your patronage! View all feedback.
Ordered a cattle men's brekky gluten free - the cook poked his head out - what? Then again - can do w/out the bread! Not a morning person... couldn't eat it ... fritters full of flour. Don't visit here if you are coeliac. They just don't care. Refused to refund too!
Crowded at lunch but still got a table twice for four of us. Third time no luck. Only had chips and a toastie which was ok. Pricey but expected.
Although we only went in for coffees this place was a welcoming change from the outdoor cold. Great customer service and excellent coffee.
Excellent service, friendly staff, with orders coming out quickly. The restaurant is super busy because of its location, but food delivery is quick.
