Wallis Tavern - Mount Barker

We had just ordered when the power went we decided to wait it out as we had a large group and 40 minutes later it came back on food was out to us quickly. great staff, ok food not the greatest range we go there often and it always has the same average menu but service staff and convenience make up for it.

We have eaten here multiple times over the years. Service is great. Bookings are advised particularly for Thursday Nights (movie/meal deal night). Service is quick.

Wallis Tavern proves to be a very convenient place to eat after a movie. A strategically placed cakes cabinet tempts you to just have cake and coffee but if you can avoid the temptation the main menu provides some good options for lunch. The meals were not spectacular but were satisfactory pub meals and the service and setting were good.

After a few tries this is the first time I have been up hereArrived early on very very wet wooly day from the city. The staff welcomed us warmly so we had coffee till restaurant opened then quick meal before movie. Good menus choices, good prices, food served quickly well presented and very hot and fresh. Thoroughly enjoyed will go again.

Went with daughter to have dinner and we thoroughly enjoyed. Service was very good and they had salad bar and hot veg bar for main meals.. The selections were splendid! Alcohol prices were very reasonable. I ordered lamb shank and daughter kids meal.. good size portion and well made. I was not overly impressed with the lamb but loved everything else!
