This is a lovely pub with great service and a decent variety of food options. The quality is usually quite impressive, and the prices are reasonable. The decor and atmosphere are enjoyable, featuring a comfortable ambiance that isn’t overly noisy or extravagant. There is excellent accessibility for wheelchairs and walkers at the entrance. It's also a family-friendly spot.

We stopped by the Clovercrest for lunch and, unfortunately, arrived a little late at 1:30 PM. Feeling a bit anxious, we sat down, but our concerns were unfounded. We were greeted with warm hospitality and given menus. I ordered the grilled fish with chips and salad, while my friend chose the schnitzel, also with chips and salad. My fish was delightful—moist and served hot. The schnitzel was well cooked and beautifully presented as well. At $15 per meal, the food offered great value for money. We were even offered a second course, all included in that very reasonable price. Overall, if you’re in the northeast looking for a lunch spot, it would be hard to find a better deal than the Clovercrest.

I went to see a band and they were quite impressive. I ordered the chicken schnitzel with a meat lovers topping; it was decent, but I wish there had been more chips. The salad was tasty, and I appreciated that the dressing came in a small packet for me to add myself. This way, I could control how much I wanted, and my salad didn’t get soggy before it arrived.

Absolutely wonderful service from Ainslie and Grace for our family come together last week in the sports bar that was a group of over 30 of us. Nothing was too much trouble. Very responsive when I had questions or concerns. Such a care was made for us, and I have a nice surprise to see that Ainslie had also set up a cake table in our theme. There is a decent selection of food in the Sports Bar and we found it a good mood to have with friendly patrons. Was a great night everyone enjoyed. We often eat in the dining room and I have always found the staff to be warm and welcoming. The menu has added a number of good honest pub dishes with a few specialties that our family enjoys. I really miss her salad and Veg Bar, which used to be part of the dining room, because it was the best around, but understandably this is not a possibility in the current climate. Thank you for being a welcoming place where we can come together with the family and make these memories.

Super impressed by the Clovey, had her xmas meal for large groups, 3 choices for main 2 choices for dessert plus mixed hot veg on the table and the table was all for $29.90 pp. I had the crispy pig bell pavlova, it was devine! Everyone had a good food, it remained full and planned a return trip
