Came across this gem by chance and it proved to be a really good choice for breakfast. The building was old and intersting but very comfortable. We had the Brekky Burger which was so delicious - Brioche, bacon, egg, slices of avo and chutney. All of this served with a smile from very friendly staff, whilst we caught up with the latest news in the papers, with a hot pot of tea each. Couldn't have asked for better. View all feedback.

Took 40minutes for 4 coffees, another 15minutes for 3 already baked lemon tarts, and after finishing the warm coffees the b.l.t arrived. Called in for a quick snack and left an hour and half later. So we realised what b.l.t. stood for.... **** long time! Sorry guys, you need to be more organised. View all feedback.
Nice atmosphere and coffee. They were the only place still serving food later in the afternoon in Castlemaine and we had a lovely pie with a German-style potato salad. Nice selection of cakes and things, and friendly staff.
Incredible food and service. A must if you're ever in Castlemaine. The sweet potato and black bean burgers are top ten, check them out! Peter and staff are also very accommodating to all dietary requirements!
Perfect little cafe in Castlemaine were looking for a nice local cafe on way through from Bendigo. The atmosphere was cosy and local wooden tables and comfortable seating. Limited but fantastic menu. The off the bone ham toastie was perfect and the zucchini and corn fritters perfectly balanced with ricotta, spinach and chutney.Lovely service and stayed for a while to relax and read the paper not rushed at all.Looking forward to the house special rabbit pie which we took home for dinner.A great spot to visit in Castlemaine.
This charming cafe is a gem, with excellent food and service. I would definitely recommend it. The dishes are fresh and top-notch. Convenient parking is available right outside. It can be quite busy at times, which is a good sign of its popularity.
The coffee here is fantastic, the chai is authentic, and the upstairs gallery is beautifully presented. I stopped by twice last weekend for coffee and was impressed by the quality and prompt service. The chai Latte was not made from powder, which was a great sign of authenticity. I will definitely be back for breakfast next time. The gallery upstairs is also definitely worth a visit.
