We had the Brek... read more Came across this gem by chance and it proved to be a really good choice for breakfast. The building was old and intersting but very comfortable. We had the Brekky Burger which was so delicious - Brioche, bacon, egg, slices of avo and chutney. All of this served with a smile from very friendly staff, whilst we caught up with the latest news in the papers, with a hot pot of tea each. Couldn't have asked for better.

We were disappointed that they no longer had rabbit pies on the menu, however there were still plenty of options. The service was very slow. We waited a long time for our food but it was worth the wait! We had a BLAT and the beef stew - delicious! Serving sizes are not generous but it leaves room for dessert. It is very warm and inviting inside, so pay a visit if you are prepared to wait a bit for your meal!

A small menu but a great variety for lunch, extended with a specials board of approx. 5 more dishes. After placing our order it wasn't long until our meal arrived, well presented, appetising and reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly and overall a lovely atmosphere and very cosy on a cold winter's day.
