The atmosphe... read more This is a charming spot for a daytime meal with excellent coffee. We tried the breakfast options, including bircher muesli and the vegan breakfast. The atmosphere was enhanced by the lovely historic building, which I recently learned was part of Castlemaine's red light district during the gold rush era.

Even though there was a long wait due to the restaurant being very busy (there was a long line for takeaway coffees), the staff was very apologetic for accidentally forgetting my order. They generously reduced the price, which I was grateful for. I sat outside with my dog and the staff even brought water for her without me having to ask. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and the ghost signs are intriguing. I recommend visiting this place with confidence.
