Ordered a yellow curry and a thai basilikum and chili stir fry to take. the personal was nice, the service was fast and I was impressed by the amount of availab... read more Ordered a yellow curry and a thai basilikum and chili stir fry to take. the personal was nice, the service was fast and I was impressed by the amount of available vegan options. I enjoyed the vegan spring rolls as a starter. However, the curry was not very exciting and the stirring frit was mostly completely bland and tasteless. it tasted as if it was cooked in water and not added a crumb or spice. sauce was like brown water. Despite eating immediately, the cold was cold. this was very disappointing as the experience to eat was great.

But we were very pleased and humbled to have our expectations overturned. Relaxing atmosphere, sharp, strong, bold flavours and lovely service. Better than a lot of Thai food we have had in the big city. A dining gem in Castlemaine.
