Very friendly and smiley service, even though you have to order at the counter and -although provided- you have to grab your own cutlery, glasses, napkins and water. The food was very good, and so was the ambience of the place. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable meal, but not the best value for your money. View all feedback.
What User dislikes about Naam Pla Thai Kitchen:
ordered a yellow curry and a thai basilikum and chili stir fry to take. the personal was nice, the service was fast and I was impressed by the amount of available vegan options. I enjoyed the vegan spring rolls as a starter. However, the curry was not very exciting and the stirring frit was mostly completely bland and tasteless. it tasted as if it was cooked in water and not added a crumb or spice. sauce was like bro... I enjoyed the vegan spring rolls as a starter. However, the curry was not very exciting and the stirring frit was mostly completely bland and tasteless. it tasted as if it was cooked in water and not added a crumb or spice. sauce was like brown water. Despite eating immediately, the cold was cold. this was very disappointing as the experience to eat was great.
This place has some really nice vegan options, and they are super courteous when they have any questions that eat I had from here, has always left me really good and not sluggish
So amazing vegan eating! and so much of it! went a few hours ago on a trip from wollongong to melbourne and held in castlemaine and that was definitiw the right place to eat! had 3 dishes and 2 lures with my family and we could not finish the half of it because there was so much. the server and beautiful and accomodating. everything I wanted!
Great vegan options! The vege selection entree was delish as was the fried rice with tempeh.

Visiting from Melbourne, we were a bit skeptical of a Thai restaurant in a regional town. But we were very pleased and humbled to have our expectations overturned. Relaxing atmosphere, sharp, strong, bold flavours and lovely service. Better than a lot of Thai food we have had in the big city. A dining gem in Castlemaine.
Went here a while ago. Absolutely loved their crispy chicken wings with a lime dipping sauce. They were open through lunch to dinner so it's a good place to go in those awkward hours between lunch and dinner. Will definitely go back when we're back in Castlemaine. :
I never get tired of Thai food. The restaurant has a constantly changing list of specials, which keeps things exciting and allows me to try new dishes. Additionally, they offer a wide variety of delicious cakes and desserts in their display case.
This get tops marks for the Red Duck Curry. We came back the next night just for this. The rest of the food was pretty good but that dish was spectacular.
Excellent! Food is delicious and full of flavour. Come for the roti and satay sauce alone! Really friendly and accommodating to my two young boys. Will definitely come back.
