I would hav... read more I was disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. The Italian food may appeal to locals, but it is a far cry from authentic Italian cuisine. I would have been better off making my own pasta dish at home with store-bought ingredients. The prawns were good and the service was friendly, but I won't be returning.

After waiting over an hour and a half for our pizza to arrive (we have waited over two hours in previous times) they forgot the garlic sauce yet again!It's just not good enough and we will not be supporting this business ever again.Look out when Dominos opens!

It is not just a pizza shop, there is a wide variety of other Italian dishes, from risotto to pasta, as well. It was tasty and generous in its toppings, but we have had better prices elsewhere. The decor is looking a little tired and the proprietors have a for sale sign up.

We were very disappointed to find they were... read more Fred and I decided pizza was the go last night. We had been recommended to go to another establishment in the area. We were very disappointed to find they were closed on a Sunday evening. So we drove around to capones, had a look through the window to see how many people were in the restaurant, always a good sign. We could not see a single person in the restaurant but a few in the take away section.We decided to give it a go and went inside. We were seen by a waitress straight away and were taken out into the back section to be seated. We were surprised to see two other couples there as we could not see them from the outside. So we sat at our table, put our order in then decided to move into the front of restaurant. It was so much more pleasant in the front, not as secluded or dark and dingy. My advice to this restaurant, fill it from the front window onwards, it makes a much better impression. Also, the back room would be much nicer than if the fire place was going. Generally the place needs a VERY GOOD CLEAN, paint job and get rid of all the cobwebs!Now for the pizza, which is why we were there of course. It was very good, great crispy base, adequate toppings and flavour.Put a few improvements into this place and you could have a Castlemaine goldmine.
