The place looks cute and tasty and inviting and surely some people go there because it’s cozy atmosphere. Service is polite and helpful. Yet the cake I had today was just awful. It’s a worst cake I ever tried in Moscow. I wanted to have a take away piece of cake, got recommended something with cherry inside, looking amazing. Once I opened the box at home I knew already it will taste horrible. It was so dry looking inside like it’s been weeks on the display. Horrible taste too, and I got stomach ache and discomfort right away. I ate 1/3 of piece just because it was a pity to chunk 600 rubbles cake away. Highly recommend to avoid this place or at least be careful when buying a cake there. Stay healthy!
I had a great break at the Conversation Café, Moscow. This two-story cafe turned to an enchanting forest during Xmas. The trade mark of this cafe is the 2 beautiful fridges showcasing of elaborate cakes. The secret of Chef Nina is in the tasty cream cheese. I had Gingerbread season latte with light coffee shot, and delicious cream on top. My cake was the fruity Coconut cake with strawberry cream cheese and fresh berries, this slice tasted very fresh and surely it melts in your mouth slice, the slice was a large size. There are many other flavours such as dates, walnut, chocolate and fruits. SEE photos.
This is my 2nd visit to the Conversation café. This café is nicely decorated and the cakes are so tempting. I had the Tokyo girl cake, which is Pistachio cake with cherry filling and milk soufflé layers. This slice was soft and the cherry filling was delightfully sweet. The staff were friendly and sweet.
