Shorty's B-q - Moriarty

Met a friend who was traveling along the 40 for lunch. Shorty’s is easy to get to and has ample space near by for RV parking. Features indoor and outdoor seating. You order at the front counter and then sit down to eat your food and they bring it out to you when it’s ready. They have BBQ, Sandwiches, Broasted “Fried Chicken”, Spaghetti, Pizza, Wings and more. I was a little overwhelmed by the menu because there were so many tasty choices, I ended up getting the Broasted Chicken and it was great! Sierra was our cashier and server and she was so helpful and pleasant. I felt like I had so many questions since it was my first time there and she was so friendly and answered all my questions. If you are traveling on Hwy 40 and would like some good eats- check out Shorty’s!

These folks are too notch ! I had some friends that I needed to have dinner prepared for they did an amazing job. It was delicious as usual. Thank you very much. Great food and amazing service.

Shorty serves all the known BBQ favorites, brisket, ribs,chicken hot links. Fried chicken dinners and pizza are also available. Prices are reasonable and portions are large. My only disappointment was they don't make a thin crust pizza however that's minor.

We're going out to eat here again. Great food, great service, great prices... Atmosphere is very casual, but beautiful and clean.

Another Top 5 Pick for Route 66 restaurants. This is one of those little joints on the street I look forward to. I am very annoyed if my Route 66 travels do not match my appetite or restaurant hours. The youthful staff here is the MOST courtesy and polite group I've ever met. Everyone who works here takes his job seriously and it shows. I love the food and the atmosphere. Great work!
