The Mexican plate was gene... read more I had a pleasant surprise when visiting this café at a truck stop. The menu offered a variety of options and the food was very tasty. The Mexican plate was generous, with tacos, enchiladas, and tamales. The fish and chips were crispy and delicious, accompanied by a tasty sauce. The environment was plain but very clean, and the server was super friendly and helpful.

It disapointing when one of your favorite places becomes just another place I'm my humble opinion, Lisa's was much better off when it was just a hole-in-the-wall mom and pop truck stop.. it had a charm that actually made me willing to wait patiently for one of the six tables and have an amazing meal. Now that they added on a considerable sized addition,it seems that the folks at Lisa's care more about being BIG than better. I refuse to be treated improperly by anyone who want me to spend my hard earned money in their establishment and it started when it tokl a full 15 minutes for the server to even acknowledge my buddy and I. I ordered a chef salad and an enchilada plate and was told that I couldn't have my salad first and they in fact came out at the same time, on paper plates... with cheap plastic utensils. I can honestly say, If I wanted to eat on paper plates, I could've had a better meal by warming up something in the microwave in the truck. I hope the folks at Lisa's Truck Center create whatever it is they are trying to turn this once beloved stop in to, but they will have to do it without my patronage. I wish you the best.

See picture. ?It?s not enough green chili??Really? Haha omg it?s got so much green chili sauce. And if you want more just ask for a side. I don?t understand how peoplecomplain about something that is absolutely amazing. I would drive 1000 miles just to get the breakfast burrito. The baconinside is perfect and crispy and quality. The green chili sauce is off the hook. Seriously. Perfect cooked hash browns, hokemade tortilla. Quality cheese. Thanks to the restaurant staff and owner.

I drowned it in salsa and it still choked me... read more Never in my life have I ever had unseasoned taco meat before. This is the driest, unseasoned chicken I?ve ever had. I drowned it in salsa and it still choked me like a Popeyes biscuit. The rice has absolutely no seasoning in it as well. If your palletis bland, this is the place for you. If you like flavor, go elsewhere.
