Mt niece recommended Lotaburger and I'm glad we left! The frits are wonderfully crispy and the onion rings have a FABULOUS battery. We had to wait a bit, but it was worth it for such fresh pommes/rings. I had the chicken ranch sandwich with picked onions, which was very good with a wonderfully crispy chicken breast. Good rolls too. My daughter had the New Mexico style Lota Burger and enjoyed it (but still preferred the full slice of onion at In 'n Out). She also liked the hatch green chilis, but she will be on the side next time. I ate her extra chilis with my sandwich and it was. We also have a vanilla milkshake to go and she liked it better than In 'n Out. It tastes like thick straight vanilla ice cream added instead of a shake with too much taste. I couldn't leave it alone. It isn't everyday we get to enjoy a Blake's green chili burger or breakfast burrito, with that said it is with pleasure we post a delightful review in regards to how delicious our food was. A breakfast burrito from here never fails to satisfy the taste buds and the growling stomach crying out for something to fill it up. If need be, grab a burrito from here for breakfast or a burger for lunch. While waiting for our order, observing the surfaces of tables and bars that stretch out throughout the establishment, it was noticed that fingerprints and grease perhaps were stamped throughout the place. Some cleaning up is all that is needed, but don't let it hinder your decision to grab a delicious bite to eat. Prepped food is visible, friendly staff greet you, and portions are more than enough. All-in-all, Blake's is a quick stop for a quick bite in a little quiet town.
I finally tried Blake’s earlier this year while passing through and have now been to three different locations! Every time I pass through New Mexico, I try to stop and get the NM-style burger with the Hatch Valley green chilies and bacon with a side order of onion rings!!
I was a little worried coming here after seeing all the comments especially with customer part but decided to take the risk glad I did I had the lota New Mexico Burger with green chili and man it was good. Big and tasty and the seasoned fries were extremely good probably the best I've ever had. But the tables were dirty but I will come here again if I'm ever nearby thank you
They have the best burgers. Clean and friendly environment. Atmosphere nice. Don't just try the burgers because everything is so delicious. They're only 3 states that have them so we try to get to one every time we're in one of the states. Texas, Arizona, and New Mexico.
