The pizza was soggy and unappetizing. The wait for our food was absurd, especially since we only ordered three items. Almost everyone who arrived after us received their meals long before we did; some diners had already finished and were leaving by the time ours finally arrived. My wife and I went hiking at Harper Creek and decided to grab a bite to eat on our way home. Pizza was our main craving, and Moondog had the best ratings in the area. We chose the specialty pizza where you can customize your toppings, opting for ricotta, pepperoni, sausage, garlic, and mushrooms. Overall, if we lived closer (we're currently in Rock Hill, SC), this would definitely be our go-to spot!
This is one of the best pizzas I've ever had. I highly recommend trying the build-your-own option.
When our pizza finally arrived, we had to request plates, as she merely tossed the pizza onto the table without stopping. Toward the end of our meal, someone came by to inquire about our experience, and we had to ask for a drink refill. We ordered a Pepperoni pizza with sausage on only half, but when it arrived, it was completely covered in sausage. After such a long wait for our food, we weren't going to send it back. The pizza was thin, greasy, and soggy. All four of us agreed that we would never return.
We needed a place to eat after leaving South Mountains and this place hit the spot. Good salads, pizza and chicken tenders. I was pleasantly surprised how tasty it was. Prices seemed reasonable as well.
Excellent pizza! Excellent service! Great beer, wine, and mixology menu! Very convenient to I-40. We'll be back.
