Description

A longstanding neighborhood barbecue spot praised for generous portions, bold sauces and friendly service, but marred by inconsistent cooking and cleanliness lapses. When ribs and sliced pork are fresh the food is smoky, plentiful and good value; other times plates arrive overcooked, dry or lukewarm with burnt sides. The roomy, family-oriented dining room suits casual get‑togethers and takeout, but management needs to fix quality control and hygiene to restore confidence.

Went for lunch after my sons soccer game. Very family oriented and spacecious. I got the half smoked chicken with potatoe salad, jalapeno cheese grits and hushpuppies, wife got the chopped BBQ with onion rings, jalapeno cheese grits and hushpuppies. Everything was great and fresh and I thought it was reasonably priced Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch

We ate lunch here in October. We ordered the barbecue pork combo with hush puppies, French fries, and paid extra for onion rings. The pulled pork was very basic barbecue pork, not much flavor, and it was served luke-warm. The hush puppies were also served barely warm and had little taste. The onion rings we paid extra for were mostly burnt. Who serves customers burnt food. If it burns when you're cooking it, make more! Overall, this place was barely average. The waitress was very nice, sorry didn't get her name. We just can't recommend this place and won't come back.

My first visit to Boulevard Barbeque (GPS tried to route me via a dead end street). The restaurant layout was somewhat unusual and at first I thought they hadn't opened for lunch yet? But, someone greeted us and we were seated promptly. We had a bit of a rough start with drinks and drink menu availability but it all worked out. The food portions were generous and delicious. If you like BBQ I think it is definitely worth a visit.

My favorite is the chopped BBQ sandwich with Lexington sauce, but everything I have tried has been great! Friendly staff and affordable prices. I highly recommend.
