Nestled within breathtaking mountain scenery, Jackson Lake Lodge offers a dining experience that evokes a range of emotions. While many guests praise the exquisite food, including perfectly cooked prime rib and delightful local wines, some have reported service inconsistencies, such as long waits and declining food quality. The ambiance, enhanced by stunning views of the Tetons, complements the elegant setting, though construction may hinder indoor vistas. Attentive staff and specialized amenities are highlighted, yet some diners have noted rudeness from the greeter. Overall, the lodge remains a captivating destination, enticing many to return despite its challenges.

I would give Jackson Lake Lodge six stars if possible. The lodge is situated in a prime location within the park, offering stunning mountain views from the elegant dining rooms and second-floor lobby. The food exceeded my expectations and the staff, including a helpful woman named Oliver, was incredibly friendly. After dinner, we enjoyed a relaxing walk along the Lunch Tree path behind the lodge. The room was clean, although I did spot a few ants in the bathroom one night - but considering we were staying in the forest, it wasn't a big deal. Overall, I was pleased with our choice to stay at Jackson Lake Lodge.

The amenities at this restaurant are great! Enjoy the coffee bar in the morning for breakfast snacks and salads for lunch. The Pioneer Grill offers fantastic breakfast options, and the Blue Heron Lounge is a beautiful and relaxing spot for a drink and snack. The staff was very helpful and check-in was quick. The activities director was very knowledgeable. Unfortunately, there is ongoing construction so there are no views from inside, but there is a staircase to an outside view. We stayed in a house with a terrace and loved it, highly recommend it. Taking a short walk around the lodge offers some nice sights. The restaurant is located at 6,700 ft above sea level, so it can be a bit cool, but the sunny weather makes up for it. Make sure to use OpenTable to reserve dinner in the mural room, the food and service are amazing. We also enjoyed browsing the gift and sports clothing stores in the area. Keep in mind that everything is a bit more expensive, but the service and quality are definitely worth it (they support sustainable farms and greenhouses, etc.). We will definitely be back!

We dined at this restaurant two nights in a row and the food was delicious both times. Among the four of us, we tried a variety of dishes from the menu. Overall, it was a satisfying experience.

The Mural Room has a beautiful location with a great view, but the food and service made this an overall 1 star experience. We ordered the salmon with the lemon wine sauce and a steak. The lemon sauce had zero lemon and tasted more like a gross sweet cream. The salmon was very fishy tasting like it had been sitting out for too long and the sauce made it even worse. The steak was ordered medium rare but came out overcooked and charred all around. The only good side was the mashed potatoes and there's nothing good to say about the other sides. We tried complaining to our waitress but she brushed it off and seemed to not care. We could've been more forceful, but our faith in the kitchen was already lost that we wouldn't want a new meal not to mention this was our anniversary dinner and our last night of vacation and we didn't want to spend it arguing with the staff since our night was already ruined by the terrible food and careless waitress. For the price of the food I had much higher expectations and was extremely disappointed. I would save your money and eat at the Blue Heron for similar views or the Pioneer Grill next door for a fraction of the price and better tasting food.

We started with a bottle of the local Jackson Hole Winery's "Catch and Release," which was delightful. We shared the Butcher's Plate, a beautifully arranged charcuterie featuring an array of fruits, meats, cheeses, fig jam, and coarse mustard (see picture). Next, we had the Mural Room Salad, and our server wisely suggested half portions since we planned to indulge in dessert afterward. For our main course, we both opted for the Prime NY Strip Loin, and yes, we finished every bite! The steaks were perfectly seasoned and cooked, while the Smoked Bacon and Shallot Potatoes were smooth and heavenly. The Broccolini had just the right crunch to complement the meal beautifully. For dessert, we treated ourselves to the Chocolate Cake and Cheesecake, both of which were absolutely delicious. The restaurant was bustling during the two hours we were there, yet the wait staff moved quietly and efficiently, clearing and resetting tables without causing any disruption to those of us still savoring our elegant meal. The view of the Tetons was breathtaking and added to the overall ambiance. A big thank you to Jerry for his attentive service and for providing all the details needed to make informed dining choices. Kudos to the Mural Room and everyone who welcomed us, brought fresh bread, refilled our drinks, and delivered our selections. Everything was simply perfect!
