Whoever thought of putting deep-fried soft shell crab in a sushi roll is a genius. I came to Kenzi on a wet winter evening hankering for a comforting bowl of ramen - they had it on the August specials menu. Turns out Kenzi only served ramen for lunch. Praying it would at least be as good as the ramen in my mind, I asked for the Spiderman roll instead . And I wasn't disappointed. What arrived at the table was not only... View all feedback.
What Sanjeev Khan doesn't like about Kenzi Sake Bar EQ Moore Park:
Dined with family after a show. staff couldn't answer questions regarding food content and explained that the gyozas were from a supplier and frozen. Rice was cold, crumbed chicken was dry and tasteless. Meals were accompanied by a pile of lettuce and red onion. Total disappointment with other customers complaining around us. View all feedback.

We went to Kenzi Sake Bar on Friday before the AFL. As it always looks busy we decided to give it a go and thought we were lucky when It looked quiet as we arrived around 5.30pm. We got seated at a table next to the door which we should later regret. We placed our order and the entree came out relatively quickly-Japanese spring rolls. They were good and we were looking forward to the mains. From there it started going downhill. The restaurant quickly filled up and people were also sitting outside, even though it was only around 15 degrees. Staff wouldn't serve outside so shortly there was a queue to the bar where outside people had to order their food. The door was constantly open and it got really cold and the queue was right next to our table and everyone watched us eat. No privacy. When the meals finally arrived they forgot to bring half of what we ordered and we had to ask. Teriyaki chicken only comes with a salad and is a relatively small portion but it costs $19. Not worth it.Wouldn't go back.
Saturday night, half empty, waited over an hour and only 1/3 of the food has arrived. No connection between what shows up, if it shows up. When it does it is tasty but nothing is worth waiting this long for. Clearly major organizational issues in the kitchen. Apparently only 2 in the kitchen and about 4 around the floor and behind bar, flapping about frantically!
