Wow where do I start......tried to book for 8 had to ring and email 3 times before they even answered..this should have been my warning but the menu looked ok online..next we arrive and the menu is some special one with very limited choices...but restaurant is packed so we stay.....oops .....waitress and wait staff don't have a clue they forget orders and who is who they can't even provide drinks or water and meals are all mixed up even after a lengthy delay.....most people give up and start to walk away and we ended up eating lettuce with salad dressing as the Caesar has no bacon or cheese or even croutons and the wedges with sweet chilli and sour cream.....well they didn't even have sour cream ...next on the website it says to say love the deck....for a discount so we did ( tongue in cheek) but they couldn't do the math...we had to show them how ...so whatever you do don't go there now!
Accommodating with seating. I asked for outdoors and they also had a table reserved inside. So on the night it was cold and we moved inside. The food was good for the most part. However i would suggest not ordering snitzel or cutlets they looked very dry and dont have any nice gravy to go with. I ordered the tomato soup which isnt on the menu. It was very nice! I did get toast a little burnt on ome side which should have not been served. ..this was overlooked as i loved the soup. I ordered chicken skewers expecting them to be like kebabs on skewers however the chicken wasn't but in hindsight the chicken was better than kebabs...the chkn had no fat was nice with the side of tomato and i asked for lettuce too.My friends ordered pastas...all very good. The vegetarian with sundried tomatoes my sister is still talking about. All in all a good night and peaceful restraunt without lots of noise.
My girlfriend and I ate here on a Friday night. We were in the Entertainment Quarters to see a show. We both only ordered a small plate each and garlic bread to share, over a bottle of wine. The calamari was ok, a little tasteless, not the best we have eaten, but it seemed to be fresh, and the arancini balls were lovely, very tasty! The service was fine, not too sure whether it was because we were two women on our own though....But the waiters were friendly and chatty.
We went there on Saturday night after Swans AFL match and they had their limited menu. But the real turnoff was the food we received. Even the Wedges could not be supplied with sour cream, they had run out!!! My wife ordered Ceasar sale without chicken, it was served with chicken, she asked for it to be taken off and what returned after a delay was wilted lettuce with dressing nothing else. Never again. Before we go out we should read Trip Advisor reviews.
