Had the standard fish and chips which was battered NZ cod. Batter was light and crunchy, fish was moist and fresh, chips were crunchy on the outside and fluffy in the middle - perfect. Highly recommended. Went for lunch at about 1.15 and service was quick, helpful and friendly. View all feedback.
Would definitely go again. Beautiful fresh fish, clean, good prices. You can order takeaways and hop upstairs and eat them overlooking the river. Gorgeous spot to enjoy.
On our last night in Mooloolaba, we opted for eating take away on our apartment balcony. While being so close to the beach, I opted for fish and chips, the two go so nicely together. The service was friendly and efficient. I ordered the basic fish and chips, it was very well priced and when I opened it up I discovered, the serving size was very generous, the fish was great quality and beautifully cooked, and the chips were great.Highly recommened.
Opted to try the basic fish and chips. The portion was huge, the fish meaty and the chips hot and crisp. I chose my fish battered and the batter was light, crisp and not greasy. An additional nice touch was that they offered, at no extra cost, any sauce or vinegar for you to serve yourself. Great location on Mooloolaba Esplanade.
Good selection of seafood excellent fast service, it's a shame its not opened for lunch. Seems very popular with the locals, always a good sign
Small restaurant on the busy Esplanade in Mooloolaba. My friend and I just had their simple fish and chips, battered. The portion that came was very large and the batter on the fish was very crisp, light and not at all greasy. The chips were plentiful and hot. One very nice touch that you don't see in a lot of Australian fish shops is the fact that they had all the sauces and vinegars in large bottles out for you to help yourself to. This is a very nice touch and appreciated. The owners are very cheerful and friendly. Will definitely revisit!
