Yes it's not cheap (don't complain about price as you can check that before booking)There is choice of top quality steaks and they are cooked as you want (**** enjoyable)One of our group had lamb chops he loved them and a lobster for another which see enjoyed.No need for a starter for me the steak I selected was good enough
Over priced, I will pay for good food and good service, but this place lacked both. Chips burnt, steak over cooked, and service was not good.
We had a lovely meal and service was great. Nice place to go for a special evening. Food was not outstanding but above average. Owner was more worried about sitting having a drink with his friends at the end of the night but I guess that's ok. For a top end restaurant we didn't really find that too professional. We would probably go there again when back.
We visited Char on a Saturday night and asked to find a table for four without a reservation/booking.
