Dopo aver assaggiato i loro croissant, così pieni di burro e fragranti, non riesco più a mangiare i croissant qui in Italia, perché in confronto mi sembrano di cartone. Il locale, seppur piccolo, ha un'ampia scelta di croissant e viennoiseries fatte in casa (il laboratorio è visibile attraverso le vetrate e il pasticcere è sempre al lavoro). I was extremely disappointed with this restaurant. Despite being recommended for its vegan options, I believe it was the worst food I have tasted in Montreal. The dishes were very heavy, the brioche was terrible, and the coffee was the worst I have ever had. Da provare la chocolatine/pain au chocolat e la danoise. Il caffè è buono, il servizio è ottimo: lo staff è sorridente e cortese. Le loro colazioni mi hanno risollevato la giornata in più di un'occasione.
Lorsque l'on voyage en dehors de la France et qu'on aime les bonnes viennoiserie, il est assez aisé de se sentir frustré et déçu car le niveau est rarement là...Quand un français s'expatrie et prend les choses en main, cela relève le niveau, et là vraiment chez Croissant-Croissant, c'est du haut niveau qui met une gifle à un grand nombre de boulangerie en france...des viennoiserie au croustillant à tomber par terre !pas la peine d'en rajouter, tout est dit !
My family and I went for breakfast on our first morning in Montreal. The menu is entirely in French, but the guy who was working was very understanding of the fact that we only speak English. He was very friendly and efficient. The coffee was good and the croissants were delicious. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a good croissant!
Opened just 6 months ago, Croissant Croissant is Mont-Royal's street best kept secret: simply the most buttery, flaky and airy croissant in our fine city. Best of show also for the chocolatine, step it up a notch by going for the choco-praliné, a decadent double chocolate treat. I did not have one bad pastry in maybe 50 times now and their Americano is very solid also.
En me baladant aujourd'hui je suis tombée sur un nouvel établissement (ouvert début juillet) proposant de succulentes viennoiseries sucrées et salées. J'ai trouvé le lieu et l'équipe super accueillant. On peut emporter sa commande ou consommer sur place pour profiter du wifi gratuit ! On retrouve les viennoiseries classiques comme les croissants ou les chocolatines mais aussi des produits originaux comme des crofins, des croissants au fromage, des abricotines et des sandwichs salés à base de croissants. Pour ceux qui font attention à leur ligne il y a aussi de très bonnes salades. Les cafés proposés sont de torréfaction locale. Tout est réalisé sur place devant nos yeux dans un atelier entièrement vitré.... Si vous cherchez un endroit convivial avec des produits de qualité foncez !
