Under new management for the last couple years and now they try to be good at everything,the menu is way too big for them(and anybody) Result : Food is mediocre even for a small village place. I visited this restaurant with some friends for drinks and a light meal. The service was satisfactory, but the food was not the best quality or very fresh. We only tried the poutine, so I can't comment on the entire menu. The prices were decent, and the restaurant itself is older.
This was the worst pizza we have ever had! The cheese was barely melted, the toppings were cold, and the crust was raw. We couldn't even eat it and we didn't receive a discount. We will never be dining here again.
The breakfast at this restaurant is good with a large menu, although it may be too extensive. We typically visit for breakfast, and during the week, the cubed potatoes come with onions. However, on weekends, this option is not available. The club sandwich is delicious and packed with bacon, and the spaghetti gratin is a personal favorite dish of mine.
I used to travel from far to bring family and friends to this restaurant. It was a nice drive. The food and service were very good.Then it was taken over by new owners. At first it was okay. But then it quickly declined. Prices went up and quality of food and service down. I find it very sad to see a good country business going downwards so quickly. This town cannot afford to loose another touristic business.I also stayed in their rooms in great need of new carpets, fresh coat of paint, repairs to plumbing, door and window. Updating the in room equipment would be good too. I guess they are still okay for one night stays for people in transit.
Terrible food and even worse service. It used to be very good a few years ago, but the new owners are more interested in making money than serving quality food.
