Le Gourmand Notre-Dame

You have to try this place!! The food was excellent, true flavors. No MSG, fresh, local and organic. Easy to find and lots of parking. Also a very clean place. Everyone was so friendly. General Tao Chicken was pretty darn good. And also the Crispy Beef with the Orange sauce (a bit sweet and you can really taste the orange) Portions are very generous. It is worth the detour!!!

This is a lovely restaurant with outdoor seating -- a view of the "back" of Notre Dame. It was very relaxing. Unfortunately, my meal was a "C" at best. I ordered a ham and cheese crepe. There was almost no cheese (and therefore almost no flavor), and the crepe was significantly overcooked making it dry and unappetizing. I gave up after a few bites despite the fact that I generally eat everything in sight!. The salad, on the other hand was delicious.

Good quality food made from local sources, however service is average especially when restaurant is busy

Portions plus que généreuses, aliments d'excellente qualité, personnel super chaleureux. Choix de table d'hôte varié à bon prix. Terrasse extérieure l'été. Vaut le détour!! Seul petit bémol, les plats ne sont pas servis à tous les convives en même temps, il peut y avoir un petit délai.

Le 10 août,2016 et le 24 août,2016, lunch au Resto le Gourmand. Très bonne bouffe et service excellent ! Je vous le recommande !
