Delicious! The food here is exceptional and full of flavor. I tried the pulled pork sandwich, and it was amazing. I ordered the hot BBQ sauce on the side but ended up drenching the sandwich in it—it had just the right amount of spice! I really enjoyed the outdoor seating by the water. This place has a relaxed, hole-in-the-wall atmosphere that I absolutely adore, and I can’t wait to return for more. It’s definitely my favorite spot after a dive.

What a fantastic discovery in Monterey! The woman behind the counter claimed that everything on the menu is delicious, and while I usually take such statements with caution, she was spot on. (She definitely knows her stuff!) I wouldn’t say it’s the most vegetarian-friendly place, but that doesn’t seem to be their focus. The sandwiches were truly outstanding. Plus, it’s a bit off the beaten path, so there are fewer crowds since it's located between the two main tourist areas.

Delicious sausage sandwiches! We ordered their number 1 and number 2 sausage sandwiches along with the bacon mac and cheese. Everything we tried was absolutely fantastic. I also loved their serene oceanfront patio!

Wow! I just had the pulled pork sandwich, and it was incredible. It came topped with BBQ sauce, pineapple, pickles, and jalapeños, all piled on tender pulled pork that tasted heavenly. It felt like a flavor explosion meant only for the most refined palates. I paired it with a Guinness draft, and honestly, if a comet were to come and destroy me and the planet, I would have died a happy person. I can fully understand how wars could be fought over food like this! I wasn’t even that hungry when I ordered it and thought I might just take a bite and save the rest for later, but that didn’t happen. This has easily become the best meal I’ve had in a long time. Kudos to the chef for using his magic so well!
