East Village Cafe - Monterey

Stop them here earlier with a friend and if I could give more stars, I would! the atmosphere when they get in is so inviting! the decor is beautiful. also the employees were friendly and gave recommendations. I have a sugar-free vanilla latte with milk and spinach and mushroom quiche. both were amazing! I will stop here more often

I've never been to this place in all these years, but it turned out to be quite interesting. The decoration is unique, and they have a lovely selection of drinks and snacks. The chai was different from what you find at big chain cafes; it actually has real flavor. The breakfast burrito was wrapped in film and wax paper, and it wasn't overloaded with potatoes—just the right amount. The spicy sesame sauce that came with it was excellent! If they aren't seasoned properly, it just lacks flavor. The banana muffin was intriguing; it wasn't too fluffy or airy, but rather dense and hearty, yet still quite tasty. I didn't notice the napkins provided in the bags beforehand, but they had already included plenty, so no need to grab more from the counter.

Such a cool, rustic coffee shop with chill vibes, great decor and organic coffee and tea drinks. many rooms and corners for sitting inside or outside to chat or work with friends. excellent location in the city of monterey also.

I was looking for a place to have my morning baked and coffee and found this place I love the total experience and vibe is beautiful they have handmade items displayed! I ordered the chocolate croissant and eis mocha. yum

The best cafe out there around Monterey. peaceful, beautiful, and super friendly workers. The vibe is just awesome. Highly recommended
